The House
The Dolls' House was originally built for a Maryland judge in 1901. The tiger oak woodwork, Georgia pine floors, brass and tile fireplaces, high ceilings, large windows and marble vestibule reflect the genteel taste of the period. We've decorated The Dolls' House in ‘Victorian Whimsy', with furniture and decor true to that nostalgic time. Open the front gate, climb the porch steps, and enter a delightful family home decorated with antiques throughout including the owners' private doll collection. The front porch swing, the rear flower garden, terry robes and chocolates, the old-fashioned parlor, breakfast in the dining room or on the sun deck. All convey a welcoming taste of past and present amenities. Smoking is allowed on our porch or in our garden only. No pets, please. Our collie prefers it that way. Older children, lovingly supervised, are welcome. Planning a wedding, graduation or family reunion? The Dolls' House can accommodate up to ten guests. Call for details.
The Dolls' House is licensed and inspected by the City of Annapolis, and is a member of the Annapolis Bed and Breakfast Association.
